Fourth of July Celebration in Union.

Fireworks in Union, NJ.
Ok. Here’s something that shouldn’t be missed. Union, New Jersey is going all out with a huge Fourth of July Celebration — Kids weekend.

From noon to 4pm Friday there will be music, rides, games, clowns, ponies and face painting in Biertuempfel Memorial Park. Then, at 7:30 PM there will be a performance by The Party Dolls followed by a spectacular display of fireworks.

As if that wasn’t enough, on Saturday 10 AM there will be a Soap Box Derby for boys & girls ages eight to thirteen. This awesome event will take place at Stuyvesant Avenue between Mountain View and Tyler Avenue.

Then, on Sunday evening July 6th from 6 – 8:30 PM Union Township will present a feature film on a huge 40 Foot screen in Biertuempfel Park. What a perfect way to unwind after a busy weekend.

See ya there.

Hi.
As a volunteer with the S.T.A.R.S. Theatre group (all students), Scotch Plains Recreation, I have been asked to locate a loaner car for part of our stage production of GREASE Aug. 8,9
As a former Soap Box Derby builder/ driver I thought of contacting Soap Box Derby groups for assistance.
We would need a car for as soon as possible and would be finished aug. 10.

Do you know of anyone willing to loan a soap box car? In advance, thank you for your kind assistance. Rick spraguer23@msn.com; 908-723-5071
