Best Places to Live 2008 — Union, New Jersey # 75

Every year Money Magazine ranks the top 100 places to live in the United States. In 2008, there were 10 New Jersey towns in the top 100. This year — Union ranked number 75.

This is no surprise to me. I have been a huge advocate of Union for years. Not only is it one of the few places in New Jersey with reasonable housing prices, but it’s one of the friendliest. An anomaly of sorts, Union, New Jersey is a place where neighbors actually speak to one another — a rarity in this ultra high tech era.

Here’s a list of the town in New Jersey that made the top 100.

Edison — 35
Franklin Township — 5
Hamilton — 51
Howell — 77
Middletown — 86
Parsippany/Troy Hills — 13
Piscataway — 23
Union — 75
Washington — 58
Wayne — 100
