One of the great things about living in Northern New Jersey is the abundance of wildlife. I wouldn’t say that animals are living in harmony with humans, but they are thriving. This time of year it’s not uncommon to see: rabbits, squirrels, skunks, deer, groundhogs, raccoons, geese and even an occasional lost bear.

I took this photo from the parking lot at my son’s daycare center in Livingston, New Jersey. If you look closely, you’ll see a Wild Turkey wandering around the woods.
